Great Kickstand for Trek 520 October 29, 2007 E. Johnson (U.S. Navy) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Obtained this for my TREK 520. Toured the "Thumb" of Michigan and this is a great kickstand for the Trek 520. Just remember to use thread lock or periodically check clamping bolts for tightness. Comes with rubber grip strips for clamp and a rubber boot that has never work itself loose and fallen off.
great kickstand November 24, 2008 Mutt66 (Virginia) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is the right kickstand to stand a bike up when nothing is available to lean it up against. It will definitely keep your bike upright. I have been using it for months now and even when I bump the bike accidentally it still stays upright.
Great, sturdy, reliable bicycle kickstand January 25, 2008 ShaggyDog (Irving, TX United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This stand is very easy to install. If you are even slightly mechanically inclined, you can install it very easily, though the product did not come with any clear installation directions. It is quite sturdy. It holds my bike with loaded panniers. I especially like the rubber feet on the kickstand, which is very useful when parking your bike indoors, on hardwood floor.
Sturdy and Strong May 16, 2008 J. Lazar (Maitland, FL) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was having trouble with the standard kick stand due to the weight on the rear of the bike caused by loaded panniers. This resolved my issue. I used it on a small hybrid type bike and did not have to cut it down to fit. The rubber foot also prevents the stand from sinking in our sandy soil.
*MUCH* better than their standard mid-bike kickstand June 2, 2008 Voracious Reader (Massachusetts) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you ride for utility, with rear panniers packed with groceries, this is the stand to have. It's much more expensive than their standard kickstand, but worth every penny.
