| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description SRAM and Shimano compatible (7/8sp models have chamfered side plates for fast, smooth, quiet shifts). Delta hardened pins (no PC830), step riveting, and nickel-silver plating on upper-end models for extra durability. The higher the model number the greater the load capacity. 7/8sp PowerLink connector opens and closes without tools (1sp models use a 3-piece snap-lock connector). Save an additional 5+% on 25/box bulk chains with connectors (no aftermarket packaging).

| Customer Reviews: Great for 8 speed bikes! May 29, 2009 R. Tomblin (Concord, NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful, smooth chain that has greatly improved the pedaling and shifting performance of my 8 speed Campy Chorus road bike. And the Power Link makes it so easy to get the thing off to clean it, you now have no excuse to ride with anything other than a bright and shiny chain! Recommended to anyone using Campy 8 speed groups.
Great Chain February 25, 2010 Tom (Honolulu) This chain is just as good as a Shimano, but the link is reusable and easy to disconnect.
5 minute install! August 3, 2010 MrHans (Chicago, Illinois!) It took only five minutes to put this on after spending a coupla minutes reading the directions. The master link slides together to remove or pull chain from either to lock in place. As you ride the master link tightens into position. Was a no brainer replacement for the 5 year old SRAM PC38 I recently snapped cranking away from a stop.
not whats pictured April 26, 2010 Dick Nixon (L.I. N Y) I really like the sram chains only because they are the old sachs brand. When they were sachs they were known for their quality - price ratio. However the chain in the picture is not the chain advertised had I known that I wouldv'e tried to find that one. Also since sram bought the brand theyv'e raised the price considerably
