| Customer Reviews: a fine chain September 22, 2009 Martin J. Estrada This is an economical replacement for my commuter bike chain. It was easy to install and I didn't even need to shorten the length of 114 links. It's already got more than 1000 miles on it and it's holding up just fine according to my chain tool.
Good chain for the money. September 3, 2008 Loren G. Mcdonald (chicago) I love SRAM chains. They are so easy to take apart and clean and they last a long time. The PC-830 doesn't last as long as the higher end ones, but it's still a good chain, and at 10 bucks, you can't really go wrong. You can just get a new chain every time it's dirty and it wouldn't cost that much. Or, spend 5 bucks more and get the PC-850, which will last longer.
Good, inexpensive chain October 21, 2008 Scott (Nashville, TN United States) This chain is a great value and works just fine for the application I wanted it for. (Commuter bike.) I wouldn't put it on my road bike, but it's a great value for the price and the chain quality is way above average.
It works! January 7, 2010 Christopher Lee (North of Boston) Put it on and off I go. Easy enough to install and it's working fine. It's on my mountain bike together with a new cassette. We'll see how long it lasts...
