Product Description The advantages of the Continental Unitube system. Multi-size tubes allow greater compatibility with more tire sizes, and fewer tubes. Unitubes are available in both Schrader and Presta valve tubes. Presta valves are available in a variety of lengths. All tubes are seamless and mold-cured (vulcanized) to ensure uniform roundness and improved reliability at the valve stem. Each and every tube passes a stringent 100% quality control inspection. Continental's large range of exclusive race tires is matched by an equally interesting range of tubes. There are normal butyl tubes as well as lightweight and ultra-lightweight tubes.

| Customer Reviews: Extremely Reliable and Long Lasting March 15, 2009 Harvey L. Miller 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have used the Conti Race 700 tubes for many years and, everytime I've tried to go lighter I've come back because all of my experience with significantly lighter tubes (50-75 grams) have been very poor. These tubes may not be the lightest at 90-102 grams but they are very, very long lasting (for me, typically 4000 miles each) with the majority of failures being in the stem base eventually separating after many miles of use. Not to be cute, but I've stemmed the problem by holding onto the value nut while removing my tire pump and, with this technique, hope that even this failure can be reduced because, doing it this way, should reduce the stress inherent in tire pump removal.
You can't go wrong with these beauties.
I don't like to talk about flats... February 19, 2010 Tim D. (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't like to talk about flats, so I will only say that I have bought these Conti Lights for a couple of years. They aren't the lightest tubes around, but they manage to shave a few grams. More importantly, they have a nice supple feel -- especially if you use them with a 'good' high thread count tire. I also prefer butyl to latex for it's ability to hold air. I often ride ultra-distance events and it's nice to not worry about pumping up tires at Day2. As an added bonus, I prefer removable valve cores which Conti tubes have but Michelin, Vittoria and others do not. The threaded valve stem is not an issue for me, and actually helps when using a Silca floor pump. I'll wrap up by saying I like the yellow Conti valve caps instead of the customary black.
So to make a long story short, this is the tube I like with Vittoria Open Corsa CGs (which measure 24c). The combination of road feel and performance works well for me, but as always YMMV. Especially note that 5 stars is for this product category; if longevity is your primary concern you might not want a 'light' tube.
So far so good. Nice lightweight tube. April 3, 2008 GalCalif (Bay Area, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got these after several flats from valve stem failures on Bontragers and so far these have performed just fine. I prefer the Michelin's of similar weight however as they have smooth valve stems. I am a convert to the smooth valve stems, and these are threaded like most tubes. I've got a couple hundred miles only on these, but so far so good.
